Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions from store operators, agents, and players using the Orion Stars platform. If your question is not listed here, contact our team directly.

What is the Orion Stars backend?

The Orion Stars backend — also called the agent portal or management system — is a web-based dashboard that store operators, agents, and distributors use to manage their gaming business. It is completely separate from the Orion Stars player app. The backend gives operators tools to create player accounts, process credit recharges and redemptions, generate shift reports, manage cashier sub-accounts, and configure store settings. Players have no access to the backend.

Is the Orion Stars backend a mobile app I need to install?

No. The backend is a browser-based web application — you access it by navigating to the official portal URL in Google Chrome or Safari. No installation is required on your device. While you can access it from a mobile browser, the reporting and account management sections are designed for desktop use. For credit transactions, mobile works adequately; for shift reports and settings, use a desktop or laptop.

How do I access the Orion Stars agent login portal?

Navigate to the official backend portal URL and enter your Account Name and password. Your credentials were assigned by your distributor when your account was created. You can reach the official portal directly from the Agent Login button in the navigation. Always use a saved bookmark to access the portal — never navigate to it via a search engine, as phishing sites targeting Orion Stars operators are common.

I forgot my backend password. How do I reset it?

The backend does not have an automated password recovery system. Password resets must be performed manually by your upline distributor. Contact your distributor through your established channel (WhatsApp or Telegram) and provide your Account Name — never your password. Your distributor will reset your password and provide a temporary credential that you should change immediately after logging in.

My account is locked. What do I do?

Accounts are locked automatically after multiple failed login attempts within a short period. They can also be locked manually by your distributor. Only your upline distributor can unlock a locked account — there is no self-service unlock option. Contact your distributor with your Account Name to request an unlock.

What is the difference between a Store account and a Distributor account?

Store accounts are the most common entry level. Store operators create player accounts, process credit recharges and redemptions, and generate shift reports. They purchase credits from their distributor. Distributor accounts operate at a higher level — they manage large credit pools and distribute credits to the stores in their network. Distributors can also create new Store accounts. For a full breakdown of both levels including financial structures and capabilities, see our Store vs. Distributor Account Guide.

What is a Cashier sub-account?

A Cashier is a restricted employee account created by a Store operator. Cashiers can process credit transactions (recharges and redemptions) for players but cannot create new player accounts, access full store reports, or change account settings. Cashier accounts have configurable credit limits set by the store owner. Always use cashier sub-accounts for employees rather than sharing your main login credentials — sharing your primary login prevents you from holding cashiers accountable for individual transactions.

How do I create a player account?

Navigate to the Player Management section of your backend dashboard and select 'Create Player' or 'Add Account.' Assign a unique username (Player ID) and an initial password. Provide these credentials to the player directly — in person is the most secure method. The player uses the Player ID and password to log into the game app. Players cannot register themselves.

What happens if I send credits to the wrong player?

The backend does not have an automatic reversal for misdirected credit transactions. If credits reach the wrong player, you need to contact that player (if identifiable) or your distributor to facilitate the correction. This is why verifying the exact username before confirming any transaction is essential. Always confirm the username directly with the player before processing — a single-character difference in a username can send credits to a completely different account.

What is a shift report and why does it matter?

A shift report is a summary from the backend's Reports section that shows all credit activity during a specified time period — total credits added (recharges), total credits removed (redemptions), and net credit movement. By comparing the net credit movement to your physical cash position, you verify that your business account is balanced. Operators who skip shift reports frequently discover accounting discrepancies only after they have become too large to trace accurately.

What browsers work best with the Orion Stars backend?

Google Chrome and Safari are the most reliable browsers for the backend. Chrome is the preferred choice for desktop use, particularly for the reporting features. Firefox is generally compatible but may have minor visual differences. Internet Explorer is not supported and produces significant rendering errors — do not use it.

Is this the official Orion Stars website?

No. OrionStarBackend.com is an independent informational and educational resource operated by Titan Gaming Solutions. We are not the corporate website of Orion Stars. We provide documentation, tutorials, and account-setup support for operators. The actual backend portal and player app are maintained by Orion Stars itself.

How do I get a new agent or store account?

Store and agent accounts cannot be self-registered. Every account must be provisioned by a distributor. To start your own store operation, contact Titan Gaming Solutions through WhatsApp, Telegram, or the inquiry form on this site. We can discuss your operational plan, initial credit allocation, and what the account setup process looks like for your specific situation.

How do I download the Orion Stars player app?

The player app is available for Android, iPhone/iPad, and Windows PC. Use the download button on our Player Download page for the direct link. Installation varies by device: Android requires enabling installs from unknown sources, iOS requires trusting an enterprise profile in device Settings, and Windows may require clicking through a Windows Defender security prompt. Full step-by-step instructions for all three platforms are on the Player Download page.

A player says their account is missing credits. What should I check?

First, look up the player's account in your backend and verify their current credit balance. Check the transaction log filtered by that player's username to see every credit movement on their account. If the balance matches what you expect based on completed transactions, the issue is on the player's end (they may need to refresh the app or clear cache). If the balance does not match your records, review the transaction log for any transactions you did not authorize, then contact your distributor.
